Jeff Hayden
Professional sailor Jeff Hayden — also known as Jeffrey Hayden — is a North Sails One Design Team member based in Annapolis, MD, and a versatile racer with eight National, North American, and World titles, including two World Championships.
Jeffrey Hayden grew up racing Lightnings with his family, an early start that shaped a lifelong passion for the sport. After attending Florida State University, he built a career in sailmaking and has worked out of the North Sails Rhode Island and Annapolis lofts since 2021. On the water, he has earned podium finishes on boats from 13 to 80 feet, competing in both One Design and ORC events, and brings versatility to any role, always ready to do whatever the team needs.
Flow state is being fully in the zone: locked into the moment when challenge and skill meet. It means getting better at every opportunity and focusing on what you can control. The results will come.
